2016 General Chemistry 1 Lab Practice Exam (Version 1)

Titles says it all. This is a practice lab exam I wrote while TAing Gen Chem 1 (CHEM 1114) at CU Boulder during the spring of 2016. I'm leaving it here so that future students may find it useful (or not). It was much more difficult than the actual exam, so be wary of that.

Addendum 2017/04/24: Please do not study using this exam; it contains factual errors.

Addendum 2018/11/16: I have addressed the errors in the exam.

  2. It is common nowadays that students feel chemistry practical exam tough but, it is very easy. Just focus on the practical part. Learn properly and sequentially titration experiments. Keep note of the theory involved and also the concepts in it as they may be asked during the practical exam. I did the practical exam that you shared with us. You can also share answers to all these questions. So, students can check their preparation. Scoring well in lab practical is not a very difficult task for me because when I started Chemistry tuition's from https://smiletutor.sg/chemistry-tuition/ they also provide us practical knowledge as well. It is important to do practical but most of the students find lab practical difficult because they never do the practice of practicals before exams.
